I have a ten yr old dog and she as a round ball formed on her neck

sounds like a tumor probably should get it checked out. depending on where the tumor is it can potentially start affect the dogs eating drinking and breathing. also want to check if its cancerous

It's very common for dogs to get these growths as they get older. Sometimes, they can be cancerous and sometimes not. It may just be a fatty tumor / cyst (benign). The best thing to do is to get it checked out. The sooner the better because if it is cancerous, it would be easier for the vet to cut it out (depending on how much of the cancer has spread) while it's still small.
