Open Question

My cocker spaniel has stinky eye discharge. The vet says no infection. Any recommendations?

Answers to this question:

Canine ocular or eye infections such as conjunctivitis are common and easily corrected.
Wipe dog eye discharge away gently with a warm cloth then apply a natural, soothing eye ointment such as Clear Eyes.

Be sure all the hair is well trimmed around your dogs eyes as hair is a common eye irritant.

Canine otitis or dog ear infections which are notorious in Cocker Spaniels can also cause eye irritations secondarily as many dogs tend to itch their ears by sliding their head sideways along the carpet and their eyes become involved secondarily.

I hope this information is helpful.
