Cesar is simply cool.

What can I say, Cesar Millan is just cool and his book allows you to organize and review the training concepts he using on his TV show. Saw him at the 2009 Global Pet Expo in Orlando. Crowds of fans followed him around like Tiger Woods at the Masters.

Flawed from its foundation

This book is flawed from its foundation. Cesar Millan has no understanding of dogs or how they interact. You'd be much better off reading "Dogs: A New Understanding of Canine Origin, Behavior and Evolution" by Coppinger & Coppinger which studies dogs in the wild, or "For the Love of a Dog" by Patricia McConnell, all of whom are PhDs. Also worth checking out the works of the biologist, David Mech's study of wolves and the University of Bristol's study on dominance, published in October of 2009
