I love it ... its incredibly rewarding, and also bittersweet, to see them get happy & healthy and move on to their 'forever homes' after you've cared for and grown attached to them. But it can also be maddening because when you get a 'new' dog, you get all of the life-issues that it brings with & they can't explain to you why they are the way they are (ie, pacing nonstop, refusing to eat, etc etc) and you can't "talk them down". So if you don't have an enormous amount of patience and the ability to just shrug things off, then I wouldn't advise it.

Bindi doesn't do too much running due to her ligament disease. Every now and then she'll get frisky and run after a frisbee or ball, but not too often. As far as fostering, Hanksmom, a friend on my page, lives in Indy and is a foster. You might check with her.
